San Francisco: The Trip Of A Lifetime

Categories: Popular Cities
When you visit San Francisco, you soon realize that you are in for a great time. It is no surprise as the city is one of California’s biggest attractions. There is so much to see in San Francisco that you will not be able to do it all in a short time. Some people may decide not to stay longer than a week because they associate this part of the west coast with high prices, but finding low rates for quality motels is not unheard of.
One of the main attractions is also one of the easiest to see. A lot of the tourists love to travel by cable car, even if they really have nowhere to go. The cable cars are a staple of the city and they are a landmark in their own right. Another plus of the cars is that they can give you a good view of the city while not having to deal with driving through traffic.
No trip to San Francisco would be complete without a visit to the Rock. Going to the Angel Islands will get you to Alcatraz; one of the most historic prisons in the country and it served as a “home” to some of the country’s most notorious criminals like Al Capone, Robert Stroud and Machine Gun Kelly among others. There are plenty of motels and hotel rooms in the city so that you can experience all sights.
San Francisco also has a lot of breathtaking experiences that will be with you for the rest of your life. You can actually walk on the side of the Golden Gate Bridge which is one of the most famous bridges in the world. You can also head to Yosemite Park if you are feeling adventurous. Also, the outdoors await you with the gigantic Redwood trees of Muir Woods.
