Canada Place Vancouver

If you are an outgoing person and are looking for a holiday destination that offers amazing outdoor locations, Vancouver is the place for you. The hotels at Vancouver are pretty amazing and you are bound to find many Vancouver hotel deals to meet your budget. This allows you to plan a spectacular vacation without breaking the bank.

Vancouver’s Top Travel Destinations

Canada Place Convention Center

The Canada Place is a cruise ship plus convention center and it’s a great place to spend your day. It has a spectacular hotel on its premises where you can enjoy a lovely afternoon. During the day, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. However, if you are looking for a romantic spot to spend an evening with your soul mate, you can come back in the evening. The 90-foot sails of the Canada place are lit up at night, adding a beautiful ambiance to the community center.

Science World

If you’re in Vancouver on a family vacation and want an excitement filled day, make a trip to Telus World of Science. The science center offers interactive displays throughout the year. It is a great place to learn and have fun for children. Kids, teens and those who are young at heart will enjoy the hands on exhibits and science shows. It also offers a unique experience of the giant-screen OMNIMAX® Theatre. However, make sure to book in advance at one of the many Vancouver cheap hotels, especially during the holiday season.

Cliffwalk Suspension Bridge

Vancouver has just the place for thrill seeking visitors. The Capilano Suspension Bridge stretches 450-feet and suspends 230 feet above the Capilano river while the Cliffwalk is a 750-foot-long series of walkways, bridges and platforms that takes visitors on an exciting cliff side journey through a rainforest. The 20-inch narrow galvanized steel walkway is an engineering feat designed to have only 16 anchor points drilled into the granite rock face of the canyon for the least amount of environmental footprint. Its best architectural feature is the 65-foot curved true suspension bridge. It’s one of the most intimate way to experience nature.

When to Visit Vancouver

With moderate weather and numerous Vancouver hotel discounts, visit Vancouver from March to May and from September to November. Summer is when this place is the busiest because of the warmer weather. If you’re planning a trip during this season, make it a point to reserve your hotel room at least two or three weeks in advance.
