Montreal Overview

Montreal, north of the border from the United States, has a population of 3,300,000, has cold winters and hot, muggy summers. It is the cultural capital of Quebec and the main entry point to the province. The second largest city in Canada, it is a city rich in culture and history. It is the second largest French speaking city in the world with the first being Paris. L’lle Noter Dame is another popular attraction built during the 1967 Expo and features a beachfront casino. Although located in the city, the beach has its own water purifying system and is very popular with the locals. The floral Parks consists of flower gardens, roses, trees and shrubbery. The casino daily draws thousands with its numerous gaming tables and slot machines. Montreal has a unique mix of diverse cultural, entertainment, and historical sites to satisfy most travelers.
