Rock Hill is the fourth largest city in the state. The area is known for being a great recreation place, with 31 parks and four recreational facilities, not to mention the numerous hike and bike nature trails. Whether you like cycling, jogging, climbing, hiking or paddling, you have the means and the place do it here. You'll also find quality, low-priced hotels with great deals on rooms.

When the people say that "Rock Hill rocks," they mean it literally. Rock climbing and mountain scaling are just some of the activities you'll find. Not far from low-cost hotels, along the Catawba River is the Riverwalk, a safe, scenic area to bike, stroll or jog. There is much to see on the Carolina Thread Trail which runs across 15 counties in both North and South Carolina. Rock Hill is also home to Winthrop University.

Rock Hill is just a short drive south of Charlotte, NC off of Hwy 77, and just over an hour north of Columbia.
