Vermont Overview
Vermont is the home of the tasty maple syrup to go on those warm pancakes. With a population of approximately 600,000 people, Vermont is a small state but it has many big events and place to do and to see. The capital city is Montpelier.
There have been snowfalls in Vermont of over 250 inches in the winter time so be prepared for. The summer allows you to swim, fish, sailboard, and kayak on the many waterways in the State of Vermont. There is also some great golfing, with courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones at the Crown Point Country Club in Wethersfield. There’s 9,000 miles of biking trails in Vermont. That’s enough to keep you busy for awhile!
